Walks in Central Park
During the spring months, my chocolate lab happily allows me to put her colorful dog collars on and we are off. There is nothing she enjoys more than all the attention she receives from joggers, babies and even other dogs. We try to avoid the horse drawn carriages, as they always scare her. Our path usually leads us past Tavern on the Green and tourists get a kick out of her. I am sure a few have taken pictures of her home with them! She is veer good about allowing people to pet her. We pass hot dog vendors and bikers, people reading and picnicking and even some sunbathers. There is never a shortage of things to see in New York, but Central Park seems like the epicenter for it all. Our walks can last for hours as we stop to toss a ball or Frisbee. It is the highlight of my day!
