My spare time Is an odd little moment You might consider it The time to be dormant The time is easily Ticking away What can you do That’s different today It seems reoccurring A relapsing disease Over and over You watch the ice freeze You can watch the grass grow Or watch water drip Looking at life Like a flashing filmstrip Think about spare time What is that to you Is it merely a collection Of something to do Is it a small little thing Like a mouse or an ant But is time really spare Or a mechanical transplant.
