MY FIRST DAY IN THE HOSTEL
When I passed my matriculation examination in 1997, I decided to study in science and I got admitted to a college about 45 km away from my house. So I decided to stay in hostel. On 31 July I entered to the hostel as a new boarder and in the evening hour I went to local market wearing my ‘lungi’ which I used wear at my home in the village. One senior boarder noticed me in the market and informed the hostel monitor. There were big trial for me and asked me the reason of wearing such non formal dress. I simply replied that I was not aware of the hostel dress code. All laughed at me and in shame and anger I also laughed with them and told them why they were laughing as no one was silent to be laughed at. It was really a funny thing in my life.
