I could indulge in my favorite pastime
Last week I could spend time on my hobby of stitching and designing dress. I usually use old pretty clothes to make into wearable designs another time or make pillow covers or bags. This time I used an old saree of my mother which was weak at certain places but was still looking good to lure me into further use. So I stitched it into a salwar (a pant along with the Indian style ladies shirt wear) and the edges which contains pretty indigenous designs, were put together to make a scarf (called ‘Chunni’ pr ‘ODhni’ in India) to be wrapped atop the particular dress. Everybody complemented saying that the dress looked marvelous on me.
