My favorite show right now would have to be the Big Bang Theory.  I believe it is starting its third season on CBS.  It involves four geniuses and a wannabe actress who lives next door.  The show is amazingly hilarious.  I inherited my mother’s sense of humor (or lack thereof) so it takes a lot to make me laugh.  This show makes me laugh out loud.  What makes it so good is the interaction of the characters.  They have such good chemistry together.  The four geniuses are physics professors at a local university and, if I understand correctly, the producer has employed a real scientist to help with high tech rants of one of the foursome.  This adds an element of accurate comedy that many of the fake doctor or police shows lack.
